How can I tell what’s running on port 80

Problem:

How can I tell what’s running on port 80?

Solution 1: Netstat

Netstat -b displays the actual .exe using your ports.
netstat -aon| findstr :80 shows only those that use port 80.

Solution 2: NMap

Install and then run nmap.

  • yum install nmap
  • nmap -rT 127.0.0.1
  • nmap -rP 127.0.0.1

PS: Check if a page is responding:

curl -v http://localhost:443
